“Hamstring would be good,” Cowboys’ flagship radio show shamelessly hopes 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey to suffer an injury
Dallas' radio show hosts wish for Christian McCaffrey to succumb to an injury in the divisional round game against the Cowboys.

Christian McCaffrey has been really lucky for the 49ers this season. The Carolina Panthers traded McCaffrey mid-season in exchange for a second, third, and fourth-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft along with a fifth-round pick in the 2024 draft. San Francisco has been on an undefeated streak ever since the arrival of McCaffrey.
The former first-round pick, along with Mr. Irrelevant quarterback Brock Purdy, has been the focal point in turning the tides for the 3-4 49ers. After a sensational performance in the wild-card game against the Seattle Seahawks, all eyes are on the 26-year-old running back to see how he runs down the Cowboys’ defense in the divisional round game.
McCaffrey had a historic 68-yard run against the Seahawks in the first quarter of the game. His run was the third-longest run in San Francisco’s postseason history, trailing Roger Craig’s 80-yarder and Hugh McElhenny’s 71-yarder in 1989 and 1957, respectively.
Christian McCaffrey has been injury free since landing in San Francisco
The Dallas Cowboys have a monumental task ahead of them as they travel to Levi’s Stadium to face the 49ers. It won’t be as easy as defeating an unsynchronised Buccaneers because the 49ers have Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, George Kittle in offense, and Nick Bosa on the defense. Star wide receiver Deebo Samuel might be questionable as the Seahawks twisted his leg during the game.
Deebo’s injury has given a Dallas Radio host the bright idea to pray for an injury on running back Christian McCaffrey. This incident occurred on Tuesday’s “Gbag Nation” on 105.3 The Fan. Hosts Bryan Broaddus and Gavin Dawson did the crude act of wishing that McCaffrey gets injured. During their conversation, Broaddus said that the former Panthers running back used to be injured all the time and now he is perfectly healthy.
Dawson added, “We could use an injury, we really could,” to which Broaddus said, “hamstring would be good.” This is entirely unacceptable behavior from both hosts after the entire world witnessed Damar Hamlin’s injury that shook the foundation of the sport. Bryan and Gavin tweeted what seemed to resemble an apology but didn’t seem like one.
Let’s see how the game turns and both of those radio hosts better hope McCaffrey doesn’t get injured or they both are toast on social media.
