The final game of the wildcard round is getting a little heated as the Dallas Cowboys look to hand Tom Brady his first loss against them. Before the game, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense took the field they received the good news that one of their leaders Ryan Jensen will suit up to play for the first time this season. The 31-year-old offensive lineman missed suffered a knee during the training camp in July and has been sidelined ever since.

The Bucs were running thin on the offensive front since their backup left guard Nick Leverett and their backup center Robert Hainsey got injured and will not see game time for some period. Their second-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft hasn’t looked like he belongs in the league and their starting left tackle, Donovan Smith is a liability against elite pass rushers.

And speaking of elite pass rushers, Micah Parsons, who has taken over the league ever since he was drafted by the Cowboys two years ago, had a heated moment with the Bucs returning center Ryan Jensen. During the first quarter of the game, the Bucs, trailing by six, were looking to put points on the board for the first time in the game and were facing a third down.

During their huddle, Parsons tried to sneakily join them and the Bucs center didn’t play along with it. Jensen immediately pushed Parsons away from their huddle and the linebacker again came back towards Ryan Jensen just to get pushed one more time. The Penn State player complained to the referee about the push while wobbling on the field but didn’t get the call.

Tom Brady, at 45 years old, is still playing at the highest level possible in football. The veteran QB is 3rd in the league in passing yards and carrying the Bucs’ offense with zero help from his rushing attack.

The Bucs had a brief retirement in the 2022 off-season for about 40 days and then he unretired to play football again with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although the season didn’t go the way he would’ve liked, he was still able to get to the playoff by clinching the weak NFC South division.

Now, Brady will be a free agent in the 2023 off-season and the quarterback-deprived league is all in on the 23-year-old veteran. There are at least teams that are said to be interested in the 15-time Pro Bowler. The teams are the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and the San Francisco 49ers. Furthermore, there’s also a rumor that there could be a potential homecoming for Brady as he is being linked with his former team, New England Patriots.

It’s tough to see Brady playing another year at 45 years old, especially in a team like the Tennessee Titans, who have a cardboard fence as the offensive line. So the speculations among some NFL insiders are that if Brady stays playing football, it’d likely be with his current team Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
