Patrick Mahomes attended Wednesday night’s NBA game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Toronto Raptors with his wife, Brittany Mahomes. The 28-year-old may be a two-time Super Bowl winner, but he always had a soft spot for basketball.

Hailing from Texas, he grew up supporting the Mavericks and routinely attends their games even now. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently serving their bye, so he had time to go and watch his favorite team play. And who better to take and enjoy a great night of hoops than his wife, Brittany?

The two were spotted just before the play began, and fans seemed excited to see the star couple. Despite trailing 62-58 at halftime, the belief was there as the Mavericks held the NBA’s best second-half scoring differential. It made the game even more enjoyable.

Patrick and Brittany attended in February, fresh after the Chiefs won a Super Bowl. In May last year, he was seen rocking the front row of the American Airlines Center with Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons and Falcons wide receiver Bijan Robinson.

A win over the Raptors would have given the Mavericks their seventh win. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, as they failed to catch up to their Canadian counterpart. It finished 127-116 in favor of the Raptors, as forward Pascal Siakam dropped 31 points and assisted five while snatching 12 rebounds.

For Dallas, it was their star point guard, Luka Doncic, who shined once more. The 24-year-old capped off a disappointing loss with 31 points of his own with 8 assists and 7 rebounds.

Even though it was their second defeat of the season, Doncic did not forget to send a special surprise for their esteemed guests on the court. The Mahomes couple received a special signed Dallas Mavericks t-shirt from the four-time NBA All-Star. Mavericks mascot Champ personally came to deliver it to Patrick and Brittany.

This was the first time in a while that the two made an appearance in public together. That’s because Mahomes is usually away training with the Chiefs. In his absence, Brittany has been hanging out with her new best gal Taylor Swift.

According to People Magazine, they went for a night out in New York recently with some of their close friends. She shared some behind-the-scenes images on her Instagram account.

After spending some time with his family, Mahomes will return to the Chiefs facility in Kansas. Their next game is the replay of the 2022 Super Bowl as the Philadelphia Eagles come to Arrowhead.
