The Buffalo Bills lost their second game in a row on Monday against the Denver Broncos. They are now 5-5 and in serious danger of missing the playoffs. After starting the season with three wins out of four, they have faltered losing four out of their next six games. Their QB Josh Allen, one of the best QBs in the NFL, has had some underwhelming performances and star WR Stefon Diggs had a terrible game against the Broncos on Monday.
Against the Broncos, Diggs only caught three passes for 34 yards and had zero touchdowns. The Denver-based team did a phenomenal job on the Bills’ primary target and as a result, the Bills slipped to 5-5 for the season. Stefon Diggs’ brother and Dallas Cowboys’ CB Trevon Diggs called for his brother to leave Buffalo, and later took a sly dig at Allen for his brother’s reduced production in recent games.
Trevon Diggs took to Twitter after the Bills loss to the Broncos and tweeted:
Man 14 Gotta get up outta there.
He received a lot of backlash on the platform for his comment. The star defenseman followed that tweet with another that said:
Let’s not forget, he didn’t start going off till bro got there.
That looked like a shot at the Bills’ QB. Trevon Diggs has been ruled out of the season due to a torn ACL.
There have been constant rumors about a possible rift between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. However, both players have denied those rumors on multiple occasions. Trevon Diggs’ statements will only add fuel to that burning fire.
Josh Allen disappointed after the Bills’ loss against the Broncos on Monday
The Buffalo Bills dropped their fifth game of the season on Monday against the Denver Broncos. Their QB Josh Allen had another poor game as he threw for 177 yards, one touchdown and a couple of interceptions. He spoke about the loss after the game.
Allen said:
It sucks. Shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place. A lot of bad football. A lot of bad football. I’m still confident, but it’s no secret the clock’s ticking. We’ve got to have some urgency now.
The Bills lost on a last-second field goal by the Broncos.
The Bills will host the New York Jets in their next game on Sunday. The Jets have already beaten the Bills in their week 1 matchup this season. This will be a good opportunity for the Bills to take revenge and get their season back on track.
