The rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles is no secret. Two teams have been holding their intense and fierce battle for more than six decades. The intensity is so high, that Dak Prescott, who has been often criticized for not showing up against top teams, has never failed to turn up against the Eagles.

Now, a comment by Dak Prescott‘s brother Tad has incensed the rivalry further. In a recent interview, Tad was asked to rank his top ten quarterbacks. Although he named multiple QBs, he did not mention the name of Jalen Hurts. When he was asked about Hurts, he said that he did not consider Hurts a proper quarterback, adding that he was more of a running back than a QB.

Tad Prescott said

He was halted midway through, as the interviewer asked him what he thought about Jalen Hurts. Prescott’s answer was firm as he said: 

You said quarterbacks not running backs...Tua is up there, Matt Stafford, Jared Goff will come in my ninth, actually I would put Goff above Stafford and 10th... I do not know if I have a 10th guy, maybe Flacoo, he still has a ring and is playing.
Tad Prescott added

One needs no brain to understand the indication that Prescott’s brother made. He seemingly took a jibe at the passing ability of the Philadelphia quarterback. Hurts, who has already received enormous criticism for his lack of depth in throwing the ball, had his passing touchdown numbers low last season. The QB, however, covered it up with his rushing ability and ‘Tush Push‘ play.

Tad Prescott has had a habit of making controversial remarks

This is not the first time Tad Prescott has made a comment that would trigger controversies. A few days back, when his brother’s contract was an issue for the Dallas Cowboys, Tad launched an attack on Jerry Jones and his management. Surprisingly, he then cited the example of the Eagles and praised their ability to keep things rotating.

Prescott wrote on X:
