The much-anticipated Madden 24 video game is set to be released on the 18th of August 2023. However, even before its release, the iconic gaming franchise has been receiving a lot of negative feedback. In that trend, a glitch in the football game leads to the Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott getting clowned on social media.
The Madden 24 beta game has been played by many users and has received prominently negative remarks. In that, a Reddit user, named MyT*shyHurts posted a video of a weird glitch on the famous video game in the r/madden subreddit. In the glitch, the user who had the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott as his quarterback shockingly saw his QB disappear mid-game which led to his opponent getting the possession of the ball and scoring a touchdown.
Similarly, multiple beta users have complained about many glitches and a totally lackluster playing experience in general. Electronic Arts are reportedly in the last year of its contract to develop and release Madden football games and they are expected to sign an extension if they sold a certain number of copies of the game.
Many people expected EA to put their best efforts to make a remarkable playing experience but so far reviews have been quite the opposite of what EA would’ve hoped for. Besides, Madden also got a lot of heat for making the Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen the cover athlete over the likes of Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow.
Social media clowns Dak Prescott over a Madden 24 glitch
A glitch in the new video game Madden 24 led to NFL fans clowning the Cowboys franchise QB Dak Prescott. In a video posted on Reddit, a weird glitch happened that somehow made QB Dak Prescott disappear during the game which led to people comparing him to the WWE legend John Cena as a reference to ‘U Can’t see me’ jokes. Despite the multiple weird glitches and mostly negative reviews, the game still has created a lot of buzz among football fans. The Madden 24 will feature a lot of new interesting things including crossplay which will allow users with different consoles to enjoy the same game.
Furthermore, the game also has new cool graphics including a replica of the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes‘ “Superman throw.” Mahomes made an unbelievable side-arm throw while he was in the air against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl game a couple of years ago.
The much-anticipated game will be released on August 18, 2023, according to reports. However, if games bought the Deluxe edition, they would have a 3-day early access to the game from August 15.
