Things got a bit heated at the Dallas Cowboys practice between CB Trevon Diggs and QB Dak Prescott.

August is here and you know what that means, NFL football is back, well, the preseason for now but this is the closest that fans have been to football in nearly six months. As teams are getting ready to come out swinging this season, some of them appear to be practising with an intensity similar to that involved in a regular season NFL game.

The Dallas Cowboys, widely known as America’s team happen to be that team this year. While it is nothing new that the temperatures in Texas can be pretty high, turns out it can go higher up at the Cowboys’ practice sessions. The team’s defensive lineup is serious, with Trevon Diggs and Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, Dante Fowler, and Sam Williams, it would not be surprising if the Cowboys ended up with the best defense this season.

Earlier today, the Cowboys had an open practice wherein their fans could watch their favorite team go at it. The session appeared to be intense. Quarterback Dak Prescott stepped back into the pocket as soon as the ball was snapped to him, he attempted to look around for an open target and when he realized all his wideouts were covered, Dak decided to take things into his own hands and make a run for the first down.

Dak’s move did not faze the Cowboys’ defense as they were quick to run all over him and as a final resort, the quarterback attempted to fake a pass and distract the defender. However, that fake was for nothing. Dak understood the situation and ran out onto the sideline.

It was at this point when the team’s corners led by Trevon Diggs began to celebrate and get all into Dak Prescott’s face. Diggs was fully pumped and kept yelling into his QB’s face.

While Prescott attempted to get back at him by throwing some words of his own, Diggs was not having it and was heard yelling, “Shut your b*tch a*s up.” That was probably not pleasant for Prescott to hear. However, one has to admire the intensity and atmosphere that prevails in the Dallas Cowboys practice sessions. This team could indeed be a refreshed group of individuals who may finally be able to get their stride right this season!
