Dak Prescott has had a season to remember this year after numerous bad performances. The Cowboys QB was out due to a thumb injury at the start of the season and since then has lacked the magic seen in him the years before.
However, Prescott has a serious chance to turn his season around as the Cowboys face the Bucs in the wild-card round of the playoffs. The Cowboys QB will go up against the great Tom Brady who’s the most experienced when it comes to playoffs.
The 29-year-old has also struggled massively in the playoffs losing two and winning just one. The Cowboys are faced with their biggest challenge yet and Prescott is ready for it.
Recently, Prescott shared his positive attitude for the coming game in a press conference and also revealed his approach. The Cowboys are going into the Bucs game after the horrifying loss against the Commanders where they were outplayed by a team who didn’t even make the playoffs.
The Cowboys QB has put the game behind him and is focusing on the task at hand by thorough preparation and studying. “I’ve been able to put (the last game) behind me. When something is uncharacteristic, it’s about getting back and doing the things that you know who you are, studying and preparation. Making sure I’m doing everything mentally and leave no doubt that I respond the right way.” Prescott stated in a press conference.

Tom Brady can turn out to be Dak Prescott’s biggest problem

The Bucs didn’t have a great start to the season. However, they managed to make the playoffs by winning their division with a losing record. The Bucs game should technically be a walk in the park for the Cowboys who have a better record than them.
However, things get interesting when they are faced with Tom Brady in the playoffs. The legendary QB has an impeccable playoff record and has always played well under pressure.
On the other hand, Dak Prescott can succumb under the pressure resulting in a poor run of form. If Prescott wants his team to win the game then he will have to come up with something out of the ordinary.
This can turn out to be a must-win game for Dak Prescott as Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is known to make ruthless decisions and may look to replace the star man after defeat against the struggling Bucs side.
