The star quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott seems to have a different taste in people, in comparison to the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce. The name ‘Travis Kelce’ has been in the headlines for several months now, following his dating rumours with the pop sensation Taylor Swift. But not everyone seems to be thrilled by this fairytale romance.

And by everyone, it especially means the Cowboys quarterback, who recently outperformed the Las Vegas Rams on Sunday’s football game at 43-20. But the interesting part was actually before the game, in the pre-game interview with Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews.

Prescott was bluntly asked if he listens to the legendary Taylor Swift’s 1989 album, which made recent headlines for breaking the singer’s own singer with a re-recorded album after nine years. In addition to Kelce, the pop star is sparking the interest of many prominent NFL stars such as the Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers who attended many concerts of Swift’s Eras Tour.

How Adele and Lil Wayne beat Taylor Swift in Dak Prescott’s playlist?

Among the many questions regarding the Cowboys’ preparation to face off against the Rams, after coming off a bye week, Andrews finally asked the star quarterback:

What are we listening to in the headphones before we hit the field for pregame?

Prescott proudly replied to her question expressing his love for Adele and Lil Wayne, saying:

Yeah, I mean I've got it all, Adele to Lil Wayne.

He then said, “Just had some ‘Gimme One More Reason’,” by Tracy Chapman, as he enjoys listening to “a little bit of everything.”

But that wasn’t the answer Andrews was looking for! With all the NFL fans obsessing over the Chiefs’ tight-end relationship with the Hollywood music legend Taylor Swift, Andrews was more interested in knowing whether Prescott was a swiftie or not. So Andrews took the bold step of asking Prescott directly. But the Cowboys quarterback’s reply came out a little surprising.

He instantly denied it when asked if he listened to Swift’s 1989 album, that too in the most humorous tone, saying:

Yeah, yeah... no, no, no, no, no... sorry America.

Prescott is no stranger to the hype Taylor Swift holds in America, so he knew his comment was directed at those fans. Though Prescott is not a huge fan of Swift, he played safe by apologizing beforehand for his comment about not being a Swiftie.
