Local weatherman trolls Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys may want to reconsider calling themselves as America’s Team as the last time the team was in a Super Bowl, Michael Irvin could still run, Deion Sanders had a full head of hair, and Michael Jordan got his second three-peat. Yet their fanbase is keen on insisting that they will go all the way every season but in the last couple of years, even they are getting tired of constantly being disappointed by their team.
The only positive from the failure of the Cowboys is the memes and the jokes, the team really is America’s meme if not the nation’s team. Jerry Jones may try it and put it as well as he can, but you cannot keep convincing an entire state that their mediocre team will make it to the Super Bowl in a league filled with immense talent. The team may be in the worst division in all of football but despite this, they are not guaranteed to come out on top there.
The truth is harsh and so is being a Cowboys fan:
Weatherman Ethan Bird may have put himself in the history books as the Mississippi broadcaster decided to make it fun to watch the 10-day forecast. He roasted the Dallas Cowboys and destroyed the hearts of all their fans with just one sentence, you cannot clap back at him either because he said it like it is
“Now we look at our 10-day forecast, it’s looking a bit like those Dallas Cowboys, it’s peaking in the 90s,” Ethan Bird said sending the entire internet into a frenzy. This gained so much popularity that talk show hosts like Rich Eisen and Skip Bayless all brought it up on their shows. Bird was not lying and he delivered this without flinching for a second.
If you are a Cowboys fan, well our sympathies rest with you but hey, at least you’re still the most valuable team in the NFL, you ought to get some points for that at least? Blame Jerry Jones for his firing and hiring practices, as long as the man wants all the credit to construct a Super Bowl-winning team, the Cowboys will continue to disappoint. After all, there is no ‘I’ in Super Bowl.

If the team had retained Jimmy Johnson and inducted him into the ring of honor, maybe the curse would be lifted off the team, even Bill Parcels could not do much to save the Cowboys, and we do not see them winning it all in the foreseeable future either.
If you want to credit Jerry Jones for anything, it is that he manages to build the hype and expectations up for the Cowboys on a consistent basis even though deep down he may not believe what he is saying himself.
