Damar Hamlin is back with a bang after making a miraculous recovery from the tragic injury he suffered last season. To commemorate him the New York Yankees invited him to throw the first pitch at their stadium against the Orioles.
The Yankees also honored Hamlin’s courage by naming him as one of the members of the Hope honorees. With the ‘Hope week’ currently in progress, the Buffalo Bills safety was invited to the game.
After Hamlin threw the first pitch at the Yankees stadium he gave an interesting interview with an insightful approach. Young safety wants to make a significant impact in this world and change it for the good.
“I had my eyes set on making an impact in the world someway, somehow,” Damar Hamlin said to a group of reporters at the event. “I didn’t know how it would be, but I’m fine with this platform and I’m fine with this as well. I’ll continue to keep doing my part in making an impact in the world and changing things.”
Following the Bengals-Bills game last season, Hamlin became one of the most searched players in the country. The Bills’ safety went through a tragic accident and was resuscitated twice in the process.
Damar Hamlin now understands the significance and the beauty of life. He wants to create a positive impact in this world through his charity ‘Chasing M’s’.
American football is followed by hundreds of millions of fans, with most of them betting on the results of matches that happen almost throughout the year. The volume of online betting means gambling platforms have also incorporated sports betting into their offerings, and modern-day gambling games like on gamblingpromocodes.com are often promoted on sports betting sites and use betting on football as a funnel to attract more customers.

Damar Hamlin’s charity has taken off since his injury

Chasing M’s is a charitable organization that was started by Damar Hamlin for the welfare of people. However, it didn’t receive any attention before his injury.
But since the tragic tale, his charity has taken off and people have donated millions. The Bills Safety wants to make the most of this moment and create a lasting impact. He has also started CPR training for all the professionals that need it desperately.
“To be able to save a life is a true superpower. Instead of people standing by not knowing what to do, I´m just trying to create more people who do know what to do. This weekend specifically, people in my community,” Damar Hamlin stated.
With the money pouring into his charity, Hamlin has decided to go on a CPR tour and educate everyone about the sensitive process. The tour will begin in July from the city of Buffalo.
Interestingly, his hometown has officially named July 9 as Damar Hamlin Day where his charity will provide free CPR training to everyone around while donating defibrillators.
