Dan Campbell showers praise for the relentlessly hard-working employees giving their best to prepare the stadium for the Browns-Bills game
The Buffalo Bills had to abandon their home field, Highmark Stadium, as a blizzard ransacked the whole place and left with snow all over the place. The Bills stadium looked straight out of a movie.
Buffalo was hit with a brutal blizzard that saw the death of two men and the place was covered with three feet of snow. Therefore, the Buffalo-Browns game was moved to the Lions’ home stadium, Ford Field.
The Lions employees had a difficult job on their hands as they had to prepare for the Browns-Bills game on such short notice. However, the employees exceeded expectations and did an exceptional job preparing the field.
Lions HC Dan Campbell specifically was impressed with the employees and decided to give them a shout-out at the press conference. Campbell pointed out that the employees had a difficult task on their hands with a lot less time.
They needed to prepare the stadium for the SNF Browns-Bills fixture and employees worked throughout the weekend to prepare Ford Field for the upcoming fixture.
After the Bills-Browns fixture, the Lions will face the Bills on TNF in the same stadium, and the employees will have to prepare the stadium again for that fixture. Dan Campbell was grateful for the Lions employees working round the clock so that we can enjoy an entertaining matchup of the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills’ home stadium is covered in deep snow, making Ford Field their temporary home field
The city of Buffalo was met with a brutal blizzard with warnings from the National weather service stating that the snow could reach historic levels of height.
The weather in the city has taken a turn for the worse, with reports suggesting that the storm could last for a week or more, with as much as 4 feet of snow predicted to fall by Sunday.
The Bills also had to cancel their practice session and hold a virtual meeting instead. “The decision to move the game from Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, was done in consultation with the Buffalo Bills and local and state authorities as the region prepares for the storm,” the NFL stated.
The Bills are now getting comfortable at their new temporary home, Ford Field, and will continue to play their matches there until the snow subsides. The winter fixtures of the NFL are often more difficult as it takes resilience and courage to fight in deep snow and cold.
