“This season is going to be a LONG one”: Dan Orlovsky is TREMENDOUSLY concerned about Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers this season

Dan Orlovsky and Aaron Rodgers
The NFL is back and we have gotten a first look at all the top teams of last season, so far the top teams that we have had a lot of expectations from have been nothing short of underwhelming. The Green Bay Packers are one of the many teams that fall under that category, if the team’s season continues on this trajectory, do not be surprised if Aaron Rodgers announces his retirement halfway through the season.
The Green Bay Packers opened their 2022 run by facing Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings, a team that you can consider at best mediocre. The results were something that nobody could have predicted. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers got their rear end kicked, that is the only way to put it. With the final tally standing at 23 in favor of Minnesota and 7 in favor of Green Bay. The last year’s MVP failed to convert on a single touchdown pass and things got so bad that at one point, HC Matt LaFleur accepted that the game was out of reach and brought in Jordan Love to give him some reps.

“Their defense got WHOPPED”: Dan Orlovsky was speechless over the Green Bay Packers HORRIBLE performance in Game 1:

In light of this forgettable performance by the Packers, fans and analysts were concerned as if the team could not make it past the Vikings, then how could one expect this team to beat the top teams in the NFL that have much more star power? ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky had some serious concerns for the Packers and their defense.
Here’s what he had to say, first about the team’s offensive line, “If they don’t protect him(Aaron Rodgers) and he gets hit like he did Sunday, he will not make it 17 games. I am not going to overreact offensively, they didn’t have their number 1, their number 2, or number 3, or number 4 receiver from last year, which will negatively impact their offense. The one thing that stood out about that offense was the inability to get open (which) will have a tremendous negative impact on that pass protection. Davante(Adams) could get open so well, the ball came out so quickly, and nobody’s getting separation. (Aaron Rodgers) threw for 95 yards to receivers, the leading receiver was a tailback,” Dan spoke about the Packers’ offensive.
The team struggled, Aaron Rodgers got sacked 4 times in a single game which he has not in a long time. He is missing Davante Adams and one can clearly tell, that none of the new wideouts on the roster are able to get separated from their defenders quick enough and by the time they do, it is too late for Aaron to throw because he has a DT lying on him after getting sacked.
Moving on to the defense, here is what Dan Orlovsky had to say, “If this defense, who is supposed to be a top-five unit gets whopped like a bottom-five unit and they are going to play offensive football like THAT, this season is going to be a long journey for the Packers.” It will indeed be a long one, Dan. Aaron Rodgers is not the concern, he can still throw the ball but to whom? The Packers have some serious soul searching and work to put in after this horrible week 1 performance. At this rate, let alone the playoffs, the team may not even win over 5 games.
