Dan Orlovsky had a field day when he saw Stephen A. Smith donning one of his favorite suits during Thursday’s broadcast on ESPN’s First Take. Smith loves to dress up for work, and he wore an entire neon blue suit with a spotted blue shirt and white tie.

Orlovksy called out his veteran colleague, wanting to know the reason behind Smith wearing such vibrant clothes. The former NFL quarterback thought Smith looked like an “Easter Bunny.”

I know Easter's in March, but what's with all the colors?

Stephen A. is not someone to back down from a taunt. He fired back at Orlovsky, saying he was glad to wear a light blue suit rather than one similar to that of his fellow show contributor. Confidently, he replied,

I do what I do. I'm glad I wore this because I was going to wear an identical blue suit to [what you are wearing]. Being on the set in the same suit as you would have been appalling.

Orlovsky took his snarky comeback to another level, comparing Smith to the famous movie ‘Dumb and Dumber.’

Dan Orlovksy went to a women’s basketball game

Besides roasting Dan Orlovsky, he also mentioned attending a women’s basketball game at his alma mater, UConn, a day earlier. He was joined by wife Tiffany and daughter Lennon at the Gampel Pavilion. Seeing one of the famous names of the school, the current UConn Huskies coach Geno Auriemma and associate head coach Chris Dailey chatted with Orlovksy after their team beat Villanova 67-46.

The former Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB admitted that women’s basketball is very competitive and physical. He said,

They can flat-out play. I was shocked at how physical they were.

But it appeared that First Take’s host, Molly Qerim, was slightly put off by Orlovsky’s realization. She called out the 40-year-old for being late to the party.

Oh, you just realized that at UConn women's basketball, we can play?
Qerim said

Orlovsky tried his best to save the day by praising the game even more.

The physicality... they were beating each other up.

Yet it did little to convince Qerim, who seemed a bit disappointed by the former Houston Texans shotcaller. She threw in a backhand at Orlovsky, just to make sure that he didn’t continue to yap. 

You want to drop any other gems, or you just want to get out of here safely?

Orlovsky could only grin upon hearing Qerim’s statement. Perhaps he should add a few more women’s basketball games to his schedule.
