The Dallas Police are looking for Rashee Rice after the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver’s car met with an accident on Saturday evening. Multiple eyewitness accounts, including a dashcam video, suggested that the accident happened around 6:25. It took place on the 6600 block of North Central Expressway.
After the police arrived, they conducted a preliminary investigation. It surmised that two vehicles—a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini SUV—were racing each other on the highway. The incident happened just after Good Friday and on the eve of Easter celebrations.
Police revealed the registration of one car involved in the accident. The registration came under the name of Chief’s second-year wide receiver, Rashee Rice. The Chiefs star is a North Richmond native. It’s unclear whether the SMU graduate was inside it during the accident.

The police are on the lookout for Rice in the ongoing investigation. The dashcam footage recorded the accident taking place. It showed the Lamborghini swerve onto the highway’s shoulder with speed, hitting the center-median wall divider. This caused a chain reaction involving an additional four vehicles passing by.
The police revealed that the occupants of the Lamborghini and Corvette fled the accident scene. Three men exited the SUV and walked away before the police arrived.
Fortunately, two drivers suffered minor injuries not life-threatening amidst the chaos. The Dallas Fire Department appeared on the scene and applied first aid, later transferring them to the local hospital.
WFAA was the first to release a video of the accident on social media. They spoke with one of the victim’s attorneys on Sunday.
Two vehicles were going way too fast on a highway at 6:30 at night, filled with families and everybody else trying [to] get home, get to meals, or be with loved ones. These people thought they were too cool for all that.Attorney Marc Lenahan via WFAA
Records at the Dallas County Jail did not show the law enforcement officials have yet to book Rice Rashee. They are still trying to determine whether the 23-year-old was there in the first place. Furthermore, there haven’t been any statements from the Kansas City Chiefs regarding the accident. The Chiefs drafted Rice in the second round last season; he finished with 79 catches for 938 yards and seven touchdowns en route to a Super Bowl ring.
