“Didn’t come here to be cute,” Davante Adams sets LOFTY goals for his new journey with the Raiders

Davante Adams has some lofty goals for the season.

Davante Adams has been in the news ever since he joined the Las Vegas Raiders for some of the interesting statements that he has made especially about his former team the Green Bay Packers and their Hall of Fame-bound Quarterback. Adams will now catch passes from his former college teammate at Fresno State Derek Carr. Adams’s most polarizing statement was about Carr being a future Hall of Famer.

Although Adams also admitted that Rodgers is the best quarterback and has the Michael Jordan effect which made others around him play better but his most recent statement that’s going viral on the internet has set some high goals for his new team. Adams also said he hasn’t come to play buddy with his former college Quarterback Derek Carr and wants to have some silverware at the end of the season.

At the end of the day, there’s only one trophy that actually matters and actually counts as an accomplishment in the NFL. An honour that has alluded Adams throughout his career. The wide receiver who signed a five-year deal worth a whopping $141.25 million with the Raiders aims to lift the Lombardi trophy at the end of the season.

The Raiders Wide Receiver recently on the Pivot podcast said-“I didn’t come here to be cute and just hang out with Derek (Carr) and all of that, I want to get that trophy at the end of the year.”

With such lofty goals comes some epic trolls and plenty of Raiders roar-

The Las Vegas Raiders have a strong team but do they have what it takes to lift the Lombardi at the end of the season, we’ll have to wait to know.
