Davante Adams is arguably the best wide receiver in the league right now. The Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver has been to three consecutive Pro Bowls in the last three seasons. However, the star wideout claimed that he’s not seeing eye-to-eye with the Raiders front office, including general manager Dave Ziegler, when it comes to certain issues.

During his recent appearance on the Ringer podcast, 30-year-old receiver Davante Adams claimed to have shared some negative remarks about the Raider’s front office. Adams is allegedly not happy with the franchise trading Derek Carr away to the New Orleans Saints.

“[The front office thinks] this is the best bet for us right now to put us in a position to be urgent,” Adams told The Ringer. “We don’t see eye to eye on what we think is best for us right now.”

His comments about the Raiders front office went viral on social media, and many people bashed Adams for creating a negative environment in the Raiders locker room.

However now, after the backlash, the three-time All-Pro wide receiver is seemingly walking back on his comments. The star wideout posted a picture of him with Raiders GM Dave Ziegler on his Instagram story with the caption “The Man,” referring to Ziegler.

During the 2022 off-season, Davante Adams made a shocking decision to leave the Green Bay Packers and sign with the Raiders to play with his college teammate Derek Carr. In the end, it seems like things worked out well for Adams since he registered 1516 receiving yards and a league-high 14 receiving touchdowns, which led to him receiving his 3rd All-Pro recognition in the last 3 years.

And now, the talented wideout Adams claims the All-Pro season in Las Vegas proved that he doesn’t need Aaron Rodgers to be the best receiver in the league.

“It proved that I am me, a quarterback doesn’t make me, I make me and I can do it consistently at this level,” said Adams in a recent interview with The Ringer. “You can erase all the numbers. You can just write in: He didn’t need Aaron Rodgers.”

The 6-time Pro Bowl pass catcher, Davante Adams, will look to continue his good form in 2023 while catching passes from his new quarterback,  Jimmy Garoppolo. Adams will look to receive his fourth All-Pro recognition of his career next season.
