Dak Prescott has been part of the Cowboys franchise for a long now. Although the Cowboys QB has been decent for the team, he has always faltered in a high-pressure game where a win is required.

Prescott’s playoff record is just 1-3. What makes the situation even worse is that the Cowboys are up against the Tom Brady-led Bucs for their first playoff game of the postseason. A win against them will help them qualify for the next round. However, winning against Brady in a playoff game is difficult as the Bucs QB is regarded as the most clutch player of all time.

Prescott and Brady are complete opposites when it comes to performing in a high-pressure game. The 29-year-old fails under pressure whereas the 45-year-old enjoys pressure and makes better of it.

Nonetheless, Prescott has a great opportunity to turn the tide around and get the better of the Bucs in their home stadium. The Bucs haven’t had a favorable season and clinched the playoffs with a losing record.

Prescott has created a decent legacy with the Cowboys. However, it is in danger according to NFL analyst David Helman, who believes that a loss against the Bucs can turn out to be catastrophic for the 29-year-old.

“If he loses this game all bets are off, to this point the opinion of Dak has been neutral, the closes he’s come to a deep playoff run was way back in his rookie year,” David Helman stated on ESPN’s SPEAK. “If he loses this game, the narrative shifts and he’s gonna get clowned on regardless.”

The Cowboys are the hurdle that Tom Brady needs to overcome to make the dream of his 8th Super Bowl ring come true. Dak Prescott has a great opportunity to shatter that dream and instead help his team make a deep playoff run and eventually the Super Bowl.

Brady is possibly playing his last season with the Bucs and also his career, if all the rumors are to be believed. The legendary QB will become a free agent next season and would like to end it with an immaculate Super Bowl ring.

On the other hand, Prescott needs to fight for his legacy and the name he has made with the Cowboys. If he goes out in the first round this year, then he won’t be regarded as a star QB and owner Jerry Jones will probably look to replace him.

The Cowboys-Bucs NFL wild-card playoff game will be exhilarating and full of passion as everyone wants something and they will fight for it.
