Way back in 2013, former Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had been accused of destroying hotel property when he was attending the NFL Combine. A report was released by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and Rutgers wide receiver Mark Harrison had trashed a hotel room in Indianapolis.

DeAndre Hopkins and Harrison were staying at the Crowne Plaza and left the room in horrible condition. As per reports there was urine and feces left all over the bathroom, leftover food on the bed and toothpaste had been smeared on the bathroom mirror.

Hopkins was drafted by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He was exceptional during his time with Clemson.

Speaking about the incident at that time DeAndre Hopkins had denied all charges and said that he did not have anything to do with the condition of the room. His agent had said publicly that DeAndre Hopkins had as much to do with the room as any other random person.

Hopkins had said in a statement that he had checked out before Mark Harrison as his agent had booked him an early flight. The wide receiver talked with Harrison for a little while before checking out of the hotel. He got the news of his room being trashed the best next day.

“Luckily, thank God, my agent got my flight booked early or it really would’ve been questionable if I did [it] or not. My agent got my flight booked early. He told me hurry up. I got done before Mark Harrison, so I was already packed. I already took a shower and packed and everything. Mark came in and we spoke for at least 20 minutes about the combine. “

Then the bellman came in and helped me get my bags out. And I left. That’s, honestly, all I can say. Check the cameras, that’s the best way that you’re going to get the answer,” Hopkins said to FOXSports at that time.“Check the cameras and check the timing of everything.”

DeAndre Hopkins is currently a free agent and as per recent rumours the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots are interested in him.
