“TRASH,” 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel DISRESPECTS Eagles’ corner James Bradberry

The San Francisco 49ers may still not completely be over their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Conference championship. The Super Bowl concluded yesterday and what a game it was! The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles put on a show that fans will remember for ages! The game was a close one, however; the Chiefs beat the Eagles by 3 points to once again reclaim the Lombardi Trophy.
Ahead of the Super Bowl matchup, Deebo Samuel appeared on the I AM ATHLETE podcast to share his thoughts on the matchup and who is likely to win the big game. Samuel was going back and forth with Shady McCoy discussing what makes each of these teams great and differentiates them from one another.
The defense of the Philadelphia Eagles has been on an entirely different level this season and even the Chiefs have not disappointed defensively. However, Deebo Samuel believes that it is the defensive lines of both teams that have helped them come this far and calls them ‘All-pro.’

Shady McCoy asked Samuel what about the cornerbacks and their contributions. Deebo Samuel showed respect for Darius Slay and appreciates his game. However, when McCoy asked him about James Bradberry, here is what Deebo Samuel had to say.
“Trash.” He kept it sweet and simple. Clearly, there is no love lost between Samuel and Bradberry. James Bradberry found himself in the midst of controversy following the Super Bowl when he held on to JuJu Smith-Schuster’s jersey and was penalized by the referees late in the game. This call came in at a pivotal moment in the game as this tipped the scales in favor of Kansas City and ended up costing the Eagles the game.
James Bradberry had hoped to get away with holding on to that play, however, his luck was not good today. Eagles’ fans will most certainly not be happy with him for the foreseeable future. Deebo Samuel is surely smiling after witnessing the holding call that Bradberry got.
