Deion Sanders was extremely vocal about the recent Hall of Fame controversy and spoke about it extensively on the pre-Super Bowl show. Sanders is a Hall of Famer himself and was outspoken about the recent additions to the iconic collection.

Sanders believes that to qualify as a Hall of Famer, one needs to change the game or have the ability to extremely influence it. The former Falcons CB was sitting down with a Hall of Famer voter and suddenly discussion became heated.

The 55-year-old got agitated when told that NFL guards don’t change the game. Sanders then went on to explain to the voter how guards seriously can influence the game and also gave an example of the legendary Larry Allen, who is another Hall of Famer.

Sanders believes that the NFL voters are turning into a joke and getting soft. He also spoke about the recent controversial additions and the Devin Hester snub.

Hester has been snubbed by the Hall of Fame yet again. The former Bears return specialist had an instrumental career with his team and was even part of their incredible run in the 2005-06 season.

The specialist is regarded as the greatest kicker and punt returner in the history of the sport. Hester was so good that the NFL had to change the rules of the game because he made it look too easy.

However, one of the greats in his position still hasn’t received the Hall of Fame invitation yet and he deserves to be on the list as soon as possible.

Devin Hester had an incredible career and Sanders still can’t believe that the former Bears specialist isn’t on the list. Sanders was enraged at this and even asked the Hall of Famer voter for the reason why he was snubbed two years in a row.

Hester ran many many returns to the end-zone. However, if he wasn’t taking the ball to the end zone, he really helped his team with the ideal field position and offered lots of advantages on the field.

Sanders affirms that there is hate involved in Hester’s snub as there are no other reasons why he would get snubbed from the Hall of Fame list. With an incredible career and many awards to back up his credentials, it’s still a mystery why Devin Hester hasn’t received the Hall of Fame invitation yet.
