Deion Sanders‘ second game for the Colorado Buffaloes didn’t start the way he had hoped, but it ended with the same outcome as the first one: a win. It was points galore against TCU last time around, but against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, they started cautiously.

It was Coach Prime’s first game at Folsom Field in Boulder. Crowds poured in abundance, paying over $400 ticket price to watch the Buffs beat the Cornhuskers 36-14 as quarterback Shedeur Sanders shined once more.

Colorado took advantage of three Nebraska turnovers during a sluggish first half, going 13-0. But everything changed in the second, as their home team put together a few drives to push their opponents back.

It was unheard of for arguably one of the worst teams in the last few years to record back-to-back dominating wins. But as Coach Prime had said, he was there to play, and he was going nowhere. True to his words, Buffs performed with vigor and character. Now they are 2-0, which will only keep the players fired up for the next game.

“I am so proud of my team,” Deion Sanders told FOX Sports after the game yesterday. “We sucked it up in the first half, but in the second half, we came back.”

He did not stop there, as the reporter asked the head coach what to expect from his team. Sanders replied, “I don’t think I stumbled or stuttered when I tell you, ‘We’re coming.'”

Another great day for Shedeur Sanders

The football world wanted to see Deion Sanders prove the doubters wrong, and his quarterback is one of the main reasons that he can win both of their games. Shedeur Sanders capped off another great performance yesterday. He threw for 393 yards and two touchdowns. However, it was Xavier Weaver this time around whom he found the most. Weaver caught 10 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown. But his 12-yard touchdown in the third quarter was the best drive for the Buffs in the game.

Sanders’ TCU game partner, Travis Hunter, was playing in the backfield against Nebraska. Hunter contributed with three catches for 73 yards in the win.

Despite the offensive dominance, the Colorado defense also had a good game. They forced four turnovers during the game, one of which led to a touchdown for them. Coach Sanders approved the show. He claimed that a few tweaks here and there were what the doctor had ordered.
