The night did not go well for the Miami Dolphins‘ wide receiver Tyreek Hill as he dropped a crucial catch against the mighty Philadelphia Eagles on this Sunday. His team lost a crucial game by 31-17 and Hill was held responsible for the loss by the masses.

The WR, who is on the chase to win this year’s MVP award, was a bit off-color against the mighty Eagles. Though he had 11 receptions, he covered only 88 yards, less than Eagles AJ Brown, who had a ball yesterday night. As a result, the Dolphins registered their second loss in the season. In the coming time, the team needs to perform.

And Hill is aware of this fact. That’s the sole reason he came up with a tweet after the match. The WR wrote on X:

It was a gutsy message with the acknowledgment that he made a mistake, and he would definitely compensate. Well, he has to. Not only the Dolphins’ fans but also many analysts have high hopes for him considering the performance he has shown this season.

Ahead of the season, the WR announced that he would surpass 2,000 passing yards and is on the verge of doing that. Considering the heroics he started showing after the first game, a lot of analysts are putting their bets on him, saying that he might become the first non-quarterback MVP winner this decade. 

It would be not easy to forecast whether he will win the MVP since the NFL is a marathon league. But, there is hardly any doubt that Tyreek Hill has shown some masterclass this season. He has already covered 902 yards with 53 receptions and seven touchdowns—an insane record for just seven games. 

Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins needs to buckle up if they want to go high 

Despite being arguably the finest, Tyreek Hill was hammered by the fans after the Eagles game. He will be desperate to prove the fans wrong. He needs one more night to showcase his masterclass again.

Even coach Mike McDaniel is aware of the same. In the post game conference, McDaniel acknowledged that they left some chances against the Eagles.

If you’re going to lose games you want it to be against a really good team and you want it to hurt. The collection of coaches and players in the locker room are hurting because they feel like they left some plays on the field.

The Miami Dolphins have some interesting fixtures in the coming weeks. Considering the latter’s form, they will face the New England Patriots, which can be a cakewalk for them. However, the team will face the Kansas City Chiefs after that, which will be a tough challenge.
