As the world wonders what could have happened if former coach John Gruden had not intervened and the deal went through, one man is certainly happy that it didn’t happen as quite possibly he would have been out of a job.
Dana White’s revelation might have come as a shock to Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr who is one of the most underrated Quarterbacks in the NFL despite having great numbers. If Tom Brady to Vegas happened Carr would have certainly been shipped out so the world is curious what the 3 time Pro Bowler feels about Brady who has done it all in the league taking his place from him and whether he’s bothered by all the talk or he’s become immune to all the chatter.
Derek Carr hopes to be immune to all the talks surrounding Tom Brady
Derek Carr was drafted with the 36th pick in the 2nd round of the 2014 NFL draft and said–“By now, I would hope so, I mean, it is what it is.”
He did seem immune when he talked about Brady possibly landing in Vegas-“It really doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, anything I say will just be blasted out there so I’m just going to completely remove myself and just keep trying to play football. It’s been nice just answering football questions. And hopefully, no more drama in the city. That’s what I hope.”
Carr has been a good quarterback so far in his career but he’s still not believed to be the franchise quarterback capable of leading his team to post-season success and especially the Super Bowl. Carr would be hoping to prove that he is undoubtedly one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
