Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver DeSean Jackson is contemplating his next form of action in the NFL after playing on the big stage for a 14th season in 2021. The 35-year old is currently pondering whether to call it a day on his playing career.

Jackson had initially announced that he would come back for the 2022 season as a free agent but is now unsure of what he would do in the coming days. DeSean Jackson has had a glittering career in which he’s played for various franchises earning plaudits wherever he has gone.

“I’m not really sure if I’m going to play next year or not,” Jackson told Ashley Nicole Moss on Laces Out. “I know I announced it and said I was going to play, but it’s just really, where I am at this point in my life, it’s got to be the right fit.”

To play 14 years in the NFL, going to Philly, going to Washington, Tampa, going back to Philly and then playing for the Rams and then playing for the Raiders, it’s got to fit right for me. But my career has been one hell of a ride.”

However, Jackson would definitely return to the field for 2022 if he gets an offer from a quality or a great quarterback’s side. He also named four franchises whose offers would entice him to play his 15th season.

DeSean Jackson named the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos and the Green Packers all of whom arguably have the best quarterbacks in the NFL. It remains to be seen whether these franchise look up to him as a potential candidate for the next season, but if not we might have seen the last of DeSean Jackson in the NFL.
