Deshaun Watson declines to comment on his apology
So the media was quite curious to know more about the apology and how it came about but Watson isn’t entertaining any such questions. Watson has declined to comment or expound on his apology per Jake Trotter of ESPN.com or further address the situation.
Watson’s apology comes at an interesting time as after Retd. Judge Sue L. Robinson in her ruling that suspended Watson for 6 games stated that Watson had shown no remorse for his behavior and NFL has appealed her decision as the League believes that Watson showed predatory behavior and needs to be punished more severely.
The appeal will be Judged by former New Jersey Attorney General and NFL appeals officer Peter Harvey. There are also rumors around the league about a possible settlement between Watson and the league.
