Tee Higgins, the wide receiver of the Cincinnati Bengals may witness some uncertainty regarding his future. His contract will expire after this season and if the Bengals squad does not give him an extension then the WR will become a free agent.
Considering this, multiple parties have started showing interest in the WR. Deshaun Watson and his team the Cleveland Browns are one of them. According to NBC Sports, Watson shared a strong message to the Bengals WR on the Quincy Avery podcast. He stated that if the player joins the Browns then the fans will love him and give him all the necessary things that he deserves.

Watson said:
We wanna pass the ball. That’s what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna pass the ball a lot. We’re gonna take good care of you. The Cleveland fans are gonna love you to death. We got the Clemson ties. We ain’t get to play with each other, but this is our opportunity.Deshaun Watson said
The Bengals and the Browns are known to be Divisional Rivals. Luring the rival team’s one of the most attractive players will do some good to their franchise’s interest, especially when the team achieves more success than the Bengals this season. The Browns, despite all the quarterback problems they faced, had made it to the playoffs where they lost against the Texans. The Bengals, on the other hand, failed to make it to the postseason. They also had an injury-ridden reason. Their quarterback Joe Burrow was ruled out due to a finger injury.
The Browns must look beyond Deshaun Watson to recover from the quarterback problem
The Cleveland Browns need to solve their quarterback problem this season. Their high-voltage signing Deshaun Watson did not play for almost two straight seasons. Watson played only 12 games for the Browns in his two seasons. In 2022, he was suspended for 11 games for the allegations of sexual misconduct. This season, the Browns fans expected the return of the quarterback, however, a shoulder injury finished his dream of playing this season.

The Browns did not even receive the service of their second and third backup quarterbacks. At last, they signed free agent Joe Flacco and he provided with the service that the Browns expected from Watson.
Flacco’s late rhythm earned the Browns a position in the playoff berth. Nonetheless, he failed to win it against the Texans in the playoff.
