The Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson was suspended for 11 games and was fined $5 million by the NFL over the multiple sexual assault allegations last year. But it seems like the legal troubles are not behind the 3-time Pro Bowl QB.

Deshaun Watson is expected to return to the Houston Courtroom next week for deposition in the 25th sexual misconduct lawsuit filed against him. In a motion filed by attorney Anissa Nguyen on behalf of a Jane Doe, the Browns QB is asked to provide “Cell phone records reflecting all telephone calls Defendant made to Plaintiff in December 2020 and January 2021, and Cell phone records reflecting all text messages Defendant sent to Plaintiff in December 2020 and January 2021.”

The lawsuit alleges that Watson sought sexual acts, including intercourse with the accuser during a massage session in December 2020. There were 24 other similar lawsuits filed against Watson in the past. The 27-year-old quarterback settled all of those suits outside the courtroom. Besides, two grand juries declined to indict Watson on any criminal charges following the lawsuits.

Watson and his attorney have denied any misconduct since he signed a new deal with the Browns in the 2022 off-season. Watson signed a 5-year $230 million fully guaranteed contract with the Cleveland-based football team.

Amidst a lot of controversies, Deshaun Watson signed a huge contract with the Browns in the 2022 off-season. Even some Browns fans were disgusted with their team signing an alleged sexual predator. Even though he denied any wrongdoing regarding the allegations, Watson still issued a public apology before the Browns’ pre-season game in August 2021.

“I want to say that I’m truly sorry to all of the women that I have impacted in this situation,” he said, via ESPN. “The decisions that I made in my life that put me in this position I would definitely like to have back, but I want to continue to move forward and grow and learn and show that I am a true person of character, and I am going to keep pushing forward.”

Nevertheless, Watson was suspended for 11 weeks and paid a hefty fine for his alleged misbehaviors. Furthermore, he also went through a mandatory NFL-imposed treatment program administered by professional clinicians.

After the 11-game suspension, Watson started 6 games for the Browns and threw for 1102 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions while having the lowest completion percentage of his career.
