Deshaun Watson has had a rough stretch recently, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns did get one of the biggest contracts in NFL history at a time when there was uncertainty with respect to his eligibility to play in the NFL owing to allegations of sexual misconduct by nearly two dozen women who were massage therapists.

Deshaun Watson was unavailable for most of the 2022 NFL season as he was serving his 11-game sentence which the league had imposed upon him. In the subsequent games when he finally made his return to the NFL field, Watson finished the season with a 58.2% completion, threw for 1102 yards in total, had 7 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. He was not the best version of himself and that was not surprising as the quarterback had not played a game in over a year.

The 2023 NFL season, however, is one that will determine if the Cleveland Browns really made a smart decision by signing Deshaun Watson at the right time. While the legal hurdles that arose as a result of his behavior have been put at bay after Watson settled with his accusers, the quarterback’s public perception and his image amongst fans continue to remain damaged.

Deshaun Watson has faced the music from the law and the NFL, however, once the reputation, goodwill, and public perception of an individual of his stature gets a black smear on it, seldom does it go away. The quarterback continues to face the consequences of his actions. From the day the accusations surfaced against him, he has been compelled to limit the comments on his Instagram posts as fans were criticizing him for his behavior there.

Now, Watson recently posted a new TikTok dance video, not his first and most certainly not his last. The quarterback is seen dancing in a jolly and careless manner, living his best life with a glass of wine beside a gorgeous pool and a sunset backdrop. While to him, it may be just harmless fun, fans have still not forgotten nor are going to let him forget about the accusations against him. As expected, the TikTok video went viral on Twitter.
