“I don’t like that sh*t,” Deshon Elliott brutally attacks Aaron Rodgers for disrespecting Lions ahead of pivotal clash
The trash-talking has already started as one would expect ahead of the final regular season Week-17 game between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. Both teams are in with a chance of making it into the playoffs and neither is looking to leave an inch on Sunday night.
Aaron Rodgers and co. simply need a victory to secure their playoff berth while the Lions depend on Seahawks’ result. Lions safety Deshon Elliott urged his side to come out extra motivation against the Packers after he felt that they are not respected enough within the NFL circuit.
“This means a lot, because I feel like they don’t respect us,” safety Deshon Elliott said Friday, via Kyle Meinke of mlive.com. “[Rodgers] doesn’t respect us. I don’t like none of that shit. That team doesn’t respect us. We shouldn’t be an underdog, no matter what the record says. Going out there, I think we’re going to fight our ass off, play smashmouth football, just cause of the respect factor.”
“Like, we all got here someway, somehow. Yeah, he’s a Hall-of-Famer, but I just don’t respect the way he’s been talking about my guys all year, and the way that team views us. So we’re going to go out there and prove something.”

Deshon Elliott wants to earn back the respect of Aaron Rodgers by securing a playoff spot this weekend
This dates back to the first time these two sides met back in November when Lions came out with a shock 15-9 victory. Rodgers had then claimed that they cannot lose to a side like this, given that the Lions had a 1-6 record coming into that fixture.
However, things took a turn for the better since then and Aaron Rodgers might just have to eat his share of humble pie if the Lions do make it into the playoffs against the odds.
Rodgers once again hinted disrespect towards the Lions a couple of weeks back when he corrected an ESPN reporter on the Lions’ .500 record. It seems that Deshon Elliott has kept a note of every bit of disrespect towards them and wants to have a real go against Rodgers and his franchise cometh this weekend.
