Another big news for Philadelphia Eagles fans: Devin White is reportedly signing a one-year contract as they build up a strong Super Bowl roster for the upcoming season.

This offseason, Philly has made it clear through their actions that they are not leaving any loose ends like previous years that cost them the grand Super Bowl trophy. Just a couple of days ago, they made a big move by signing the star running back Saquon Barkley. And now it is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker.

Amidst the whole offseason fair, there’s one person who seems undeniably happy and supportive of the Eagles’ big moves in free agency – Dez Bryant. Upon hearing the news of the franchise signing White, the former Cowboys wide receiver took to X to express his strong feelings towards Philly’s re-building time.

Bryant wrote, reflecting the Eagles aren’t taking the Super Bowl lightly and that’s why they are sharpening their weapons and getting the troops ready:

White signed a one-year contract with the Eagles worth $7.5 million, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter via a source. Having him on the roster, Philly is planning to strengthen their linebackers’ squad– something they lacked significantly last season. He is likely to be paired with Nakobe Dean, who apparently missed a major fraction of games last season due to his foot injury. In his absence, Zach Cunningham handled the linebacker spot and is currently a free agent.

Devin White aside, how is Philly strengthening the roster for the upcoming season?

As said before, the Eagles are tightening all their loose bolts this offseason. The primary reason is, to get the team ready to dominate the upcoming season from the beginning until they win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Besides White and former New York Giants running back Barkley, the Eagles have also signed New York Jets’ Bryce Huff to take over the robes from Josh Sweat. He is reportedly going into another team.

Moreover, they also brought back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson in the team, who left the team back in 2022. Another linebacker added to White and Dean’s squad is Zach Baun.
