The Kansas City Chiefs are currently contending for the 4th Super Bowl ring in the franchise’s history. They still have to win 3 more games to defend their title and add one more trophy to their cabinet.

Amid this situation, fans floated out a theory about Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend Taylor Swift getting a ring if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl and Dez Bryant isn’t having any of that.

Recently, the sports gambling site FanDuel posted a question on their social media account about whether or not Taylor Swift should get a ring if her boyfriend’s team won the Super Bowl. The former Dallas Cowboys receiver had a blunt response to that question.

Many NFL fans on social media had similar reactions to that question as the Cowboys legend Dez Bryant. Fans trashed the sports gambling site for even asking a question like that. While some accused the account of deliberately posting controversial takes to get reactions from people.

Well, if engagement was their goal, they certainly succeeded at it. Their post about Taylor Swift getting a ring had over 9.3 million views on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter. Furthermore, that post also got nearly 900 likes, 2.6k reposts, and 2k comments within just hours of posting. It had mostly negative comments, but any publicity is good publicity on social media.

As for the ring, a winning team is limited to 150 rings by the NFL, which the team can give to their players, staff, and whoever they deem worthy of the prestigious jewelry. Furthermore, teams can get more rings if the owner pays for it themselves.

There are no official rules as to who can and can’t receive a ring. So, if the Chiefs decide to present Taylor Swift with a ring, they can do it, but their players and their families might not be happy about it.

Furthermore, he also said that if the couple decided to pay for the ring, the owner vowed to donate the money to a charity of their choice.

Nonetheless, despite some rumors, it doesn’t seem like the Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is going to propose to the 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer any time soon. For now, the couple seems to be having a good time together.
