Tragedy strikes again as a warrant for arrest is out for Aqib Talib’s brother, Yaqub as he is identified as a strong suspect in a shooting that occurred at a youth football game.

The Lancaster Police Department announced on Sunday that former NFL cornerback’s brother Yaqub Talib is wanted as a suspect related to a shooting that occurred due to a disagreement between the crew and coaching staff in a youth football game.

The deceased is said to be the coach of the team though the police have not identified the person yet. The deceased passed away due to the injuries that he incurred from the firearm.

“Upon arrival, officers were notified of a disagreement among coaching staff and the officiating crew,” the LPD release reads. “During the disagreement, the coaching staff were involved in a physical alteration and one of the individuals involved in the altercation discharged a firearm striking one adult male. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he was later pronounced dead.”

“Aqib Talib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life.”: Aqib’s attorney released a statement

Aqib Talib is a retired NFL cornerback. Currently, he was hired by prime as one of their analysts on ‘Thursday Night Football. He played for 12 seasons in many teams including Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots and LA Rams.

After retiring Aqib Talib joined Fox as an analyst before moving on to Amazon. His attorney put out a statement when it was found out that Aqib was also seen at the place where the shooting took place.

“Aqib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life,” the statement reads. “He would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy.”

The Super Bowl winner with the Broncos was not mentioned in the LPD’s press release, though his brother Yaqub was and search is still going on for him.
