Jalen Ramsey was spotted arguing with some fans at Lincoln Financial Field during the Sunday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Miami Dolphins cornerback was taking no prisoners against the taunting home crowd, which saw the Eagles win 31-17 in the end.
Ramsey, who has been on the sidelines for a while due to injury, was clearly frustrated with the end results. It was a Super Bowl preview, according to a few analysts, because of the dominating starts this season by both sides. But at the end of the day, there could be only one winner. Jalen Hurts got the better of his former Crimson Tide backup, Tua Tagovailoa.
But the section of fans wasn’t too keen to celebrate the emotional reunion. Rather, they saw a frustrated Jalen Ramsey in the Miami dugout and called the 28-year-old out. While it’s not exactly audible as to what they were saying, the Dolphins cornerback did not take it lightly.
In the short clip shared on X by the associated editor of Phinsider, Josh Houtz, Ramsey fired back at the stands behind him. He said:
You broke as sh**.Ramsey as he brought out ‘The Sheduer.’
When will Jalen Ramsey be back for the Miami Dolphins?
The three-time All-Pro underwent surgery in the offseason due to a meniscus injury. He has yet to take a snap this season, but as time goes by, his return looks to be getting closer. NFL insider Ian Rapoport broke down Jalen Ramsey’s situation perfectly. He revealed that dolphins initially thought the injury was severe and would require “a full repair as opposed to a trim,” but that’s not the case.
Sources say Ramsey suffered an outer rim meniscal tear, which is dramatically different than a displaced tear and can be repaired via a trim.Rapoport revealed on Sunday as per Bleacher Report.
It’s usual that rehab takes about five to six months, but judging by Ramsey’s condition, he will be okay by 12 weeks. The Super Bowl winner returned to practice this week at the Dolphins facility. He had a mild workout with some pads on.
Yesterday night, before the Eagles game in Philadelphia, he was filmed doing some light runs on the field. He is still not on the active roster. It will take at least 21 days under the surveillance of the physios before getting the nod.
Now that the Dolphins lost their second game of the season, Ramsey’s return to the squad would be an added bonus. They will welcome the New England Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium on week 8.
