The Baltimore Ravens chapter is over for the wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. He is all set to land in a new destination. However, the name of the new team for him is not fixed yet. There are multiple destinations where the Super Bowl-winning WR can land.
However, a recent development kind of shocked everyone as the WR may join the Miami Dolphins in the coming season. According to the Miami Herald, the two parties have strong mutual interests and both had a ‘successful’ meeting recently. Both discussed financial grounds and soon the two parties can agree on a deal and OBJ could become a Dolphins player.

However, nothing has been confirmed yet. The Dolphins have three Pro Bowl wide receivers. The gigantic performance of Tyreek Hill last season is afresh in the minds of the football fans. If OBJ makes his place in the Dolphins roster then the team’s already strong offense will be more fierce.
However, despite being one of the legendary figures in the league, OBJ has become a shadow of his past over the years. And the injuries have played the most vital part in it.
The wide receiver, after winning the Super Bowl ring with the Los Angeles Rams, was subjected to a major injury and was ruled out for one straight year. He was released by the Rams and the Ravens drafted him. In the 2023 season, OBJ made a comeback and had more than 100 receiving yards in a single game after a long. However, his performance was not enough to impress the fans. At the end of the season, the WR announced his departure from the Ravens team.
OBJ’s dream to play for the Chiefs is unlikely to come true
After his departure was certain from the Ravens, the WR expressed his wish to join the Kansas City Chiefs. He shared his will to get a long-term contract from the recent Super Bowl winners with a high paycheck. That could have been his last long-term deal considering the age factor. The Chiefs’ struggle in the absence of an elite WR was seen and exploited by other teams.

However, that may remain a dream to be fulfilled. The Chiefs have signed Marquise Hollywood Brown as the new target of Patrick Mahomes. With an ‘apparently’ good meeting with the Dolphins management, the WR may soon be the Dolphins.
Recently, the WR hit back at the criticism who coined the term ‘one-catch wonder.’ In the next season, he would like to get back the form he lost over the years.
