The NFL world is leaving no stone unturned to express its solidarity for the victims of the Israel-Palestine war. Fans, players, owners and everyone showed their solidarity towards the victims of the war. But what Tua Tagovailoa did was different.
Tua expressed his solidarity towards the war victims by pausing his press conference for a few minutes. He stopped taking questions and instead used the podium to address the fatal atrocities that are taking place in the world presently. The Miami Dolphins QB addressed his concern and also made an apology for not being aware enough of the war situation.
“I didn’t really realize how bad things were in Israel and I just want to bring to attention for those who don’t necessarily understand things that are going on. ‘It really is bad and if you don’t understand, if you go on Google, you look, you search and you read about what’s going on in this world, this world needs prayer,” the QB said.
Like his NFL peers, he also took the sides of the people of Israel. The QB added, “I don’t know what we’ve come to, but my thoughts, my prayers are with those people in Israel.”
The press conference happened after the Dolphins had a faceoff against the Carolina Panthers. As expected, the Dolphins thrashed the Panthers by a margin of 42-21. It was a handsome victory with Tua leading the charge. He finished the game with 21 of his 31 passes and covered 262 passing yards and registered three touchdowns.
The signal-caller connected with his fellow receiver Tyreek Hill through a 41-yard throw. The Dolphins, after this win, are up by 5-1 and slowly marching towards playoffs. On the other hand, it was a disappointment for the Panthers who are yet to register a win this season.
