“Even the sun couldn’t save them” Miami Dolphins brutally roasted after losing to Vikings even with bizarre 30-degree home-field advantage

Every home field in the NFL has a certain advantage over the other, but the Dolphins certainly top the list with their bizarre home-field advantage that was pretty evident in the game against the Vikings.

During the game, one side of the field was 30 degrees warmer than the other, and, conveniently, it was the Dolphins’ side that benefitted from this.

The field was made with an unfair advantage as during the construction they built a shed near the home-field side and left the away side to rot in the sun. As temperatures in Miami are considerably hot, it gives the home team an unfair advantage.

When temperatures were checked on both sides of the field, the Dolphins’ side measured 90 degrees, as the Vikings’ side was roasting in the sun at 120 degrees. 30 degrees difference is a lot if we take fatigue and heat stroke into consideration.

Though after this insane home-field advantage, the Dolphins still managed to lose to the completely dominant Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings came to their home ground, played in unfair conditions, and still smashed them 24-16. We don’t know what was more terrible for the Dolphins, roasting in the sun or by the people on Twitter.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins had a pretty rough and hot weekend. As Tua Tagovailoa was injured, there was no saving grace for the Dolphins in this game, though the only good news is that Tagovailoa will be back next week ready to play.

It seemed the Dolphins probably bet their money on the home field and decided to do some psychological warfare, but the Vikings looked like the better side all around.

NFL Twitter went all in to savagely roast the Dolphins metaphorically and literally, as they were playing in a lot of heat. Though some hopeful fans were seen asking for the return of their star QB, Tua Tagovailoa, as it looks like he might be their last chance for playoffs qualification.

From calling the sun their 12th man to accusing the Dolphins of playing dirty, Twitter made the most of the opportunity to roast the disappointing Dolphins

To sum up the game, the Miami Dolphins had an epic home-field advantage but still couldn’t capitalize on it. This made it even worse for the fans and the team who were hopeful this season. Although there is no reason to kill your hope if you’re a Dolphins fan, as Tua Tagovailoa has cleared the concussion protocol and will be back next week.
