Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins are having a phenomenal season. They went 13 weeks without any major injury blow and came into their Monday Night game against the Tennessee Titans with a record of 9-3. However, their week 14 game against the Titans was a tough one as Hill suffered an ankle injury during the game and the Dolphins suffered their fourth loss of the season.

Hill is arguably the most important player on the Dolphins roster. He is on pace to have a historic season and is leading the league in all the major receiving categories this season.

However, his injury will be a major blow for him and the Dolphins as he is reportedly “iffy” to play in their next game against the New York Jets. Hill suffered his injury in the first quarter but returned to finish the game in the second half. During halftime, he told his wife about his injury and Mrs. Hill had an encouraging message to her husband.

A lot of pain--It sucked. I came in at halftime, I text my wife, she was like, 'You better get your a** back in the game.
Hill said about the injury

Hill eventually returned to the game but wasn’t himself and as a result of that, the Dolphins lost a crucial game. They have now slipped to 9-4 and are one game behind the Baltimore Ravens at the top of the AFC conference.

Hill finished the game with 4 receptions for 61 yards and zero touchdowns. So far this season, he has racked up league high 1,542 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 97 passes. The Dolphins will hope that Hill recovers quickly from this injury.

Mike McDaniel doesn’t blame Tyreek Hill’s injury for their loss against the Titans

The Miami Dolphins’ loss against the Tennessee Titans was their fourth loss of the season. They also had an injury blow during the game as their superstar WR Tyreek Hill suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter of the game. However, Dolphins’ HC Mike McDaniel did not blame Hill’s injury for their loss on Monday.

Obviously a player of Tyreek's caliber, it hurts when he's not in. However, I think there was plenty of offense to be had and we've got a lot of guys that I trust to do that--I think that just bottom line, you have things like that happen in a game, you're going to lose and those are lessons that are learned usually one way, and that's the hard one.
Mike McDaniel post game

The Dolphins will play their next game against the New York Jets next Sunday. They will hope that Hill recovers for that game, as he is an important player for them. It will be a very interesting last few weeks for the Dolphins leading up to the postseason.
