Lamar Jackson has been in a complete stalemate with his team, the Baltimore Ravens, regarding a new contract extension. The Ravens have non-exclusive franchise tagged the QB, now it’s up to him if he wants to play for the team or not.
However, things are much more complicated as both Jackson and the Ravens have been in contract negotiations since last season and haven’t come to a favourable outcome yet. It’s been many days since the Ravens QB was allowed to converse with other teams for a possible offer. Unfortunately, not a single team has come ahead and offered him a contract. Many analysts and NFL players believe that there is a script in the NFL and there are reports of possible collusion.
Many NFL players have shown solidarity for Jackson amidst his contract stalemate. Recently, professional basketball player Donovan Mitchell, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, showed absolute support for Jackson by wearing his jersey for the Cavs away game.
Lamar Jackson is in a precarious position currently and will need all the support from other players in NFL and even from the NBA. Jackson’s future in Baltimore is currently uncertain as the Ravens can probably lose one of the best young QBs of this generation.

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson are still at a standstill regarding the contract negotiations. However, now it seems like other teams have finally decided to swoop in and sign the talented QB.
Nonetheless, nothing can be certain now, as Jackson is stated to have a small inner circle and usually keeps things to himself. Fortunately, the 26-year-old QB teased an exclusive interview on his social media recently.
Jackson is basically doing an interview with himself to clear out all the air around his contract dispute with the Ravens. However, there are also rumors that the prolific QB is going to join the Vikings or the Colts.
Lamar Jackson will upload the exclusive interview on his YouTube channel. Jackson’s future is uncertain in the NFL as the talented QB finds a decent team that can offer him a desirable contract.
