“Don’t think that’s TRUE!:” Ian Rapoport gives verdict on Tom Brady ‘forcing’ out Bruce Arians

Tom Brady and Bruce Arians
There have been a lot of speculations that the relationship between Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Tom Brady was turning sour which led to the eventual departure of Arians.
This rumour about their rift was further fuelled when reports came out that Tom Brady after his comeback had asked Bruce Arians to step down from his job. However NFL insider Ian Rapoport had said that these reports are not true.
Ian Rapoport says it’s ridiculous to think Tom Brady and Bruce Arians had a fight

Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Ian Rapoport said that it’s absolutely false news that Tom Brady forced Bruce Arians to step down. Moreover Rapoport added that Bruce Arians didn’t even interfere with the offensive planning and left it to Tom Brady and Byron Leftwich.
“With all due respect to Bruce Arians, who I really, really like, I’m not so sure how much he did the last year,” Rapoport said. “I mean, he was the guy. He made all the decisions in the end, but Brady did the offense with Byron Leftwich.”
“That’s from several people who were there even before any of the stories came out. There would be no reason for Brady to want Bruce Arians out because he wasn’t that involved.”
Much of this rumour spreading was due to former NFL offensive lineman and Tom Brady’s teammate at the New England Patriots, Rich Ohrnberger saying their relationship was ‘souring’. However Rapoport has labelled this as ‘ridiculous’.
“I’ve talked to six or seven Bucs sources and people close to Brady who all say that’s completely ridiculous,” he said.
