Life was not easy for Dre Greenlaw, the defensive linebacker of the San Francisco 49ers. His birth parents had 12 children and very little money to take care of them. They put Greenlaw under foster care from where he was adopted by Brian and Nancy Early. It was a crucial turning point in his career. Little Greenlaw was in a group home in Fayetteville and he did not have any hope of becoming a footballer. But the adoption changed his life as he got good guidance from his father and started getting the initial training to step into the world of Football.

Greenlaw will play the Super Bowl game against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday. Ahead of the game, the LB spoke about his foster parents. He expressed his gratitude towards them.

It has been huge. I wouldn't be here without them. Probably wouldn't be able to play football without them, either... It has been huge, I actually got the chance to go onto the NFC Championship game.
