There is a powerful saying, “Whatever you do comes back to you; good or bad; sooner or later.” No one can understand this quote better than Deebo Samuel right now. This Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers fell short against the reigning Super Bowl championship. They lost yet another Super Bowl ring to the Kansas City Chiefs.
In light of the tragic loss, the Philadelphia Eagles star Fletcher Cox got the perfect opportunity to strike back at the 49ers’ star receiver. In the past, Samuel celebrated an Eagles’ loss or dissed its players considering conference rivalry. Fletcher Cox gave Samuel a taste of his own medicine as took the fun out of the 49ers’ misery and taunted the wide receiver on Instagram. This is what he wrote:

Cox wrote it as a message to Samuel to reflect that the Eagles have won a Super Bowl ring with their current roster, but not the 49ers with their existing team. However, Cox did not stop there and proceeded to write another one:
I still got some you ain’t got. Ya!! I been holding this one in son!!!!!Fletcher Cox via Instagram
The two teams are from the same conference (NFC). Another major common factor between the 49ers and the Eagles is they both have faced crushing Super Bowl defeats at the hands of the Chiefs. Last year, it was the Eagles; this year, it was the Niners.
How did Deebo Samuel shake off a leg injury and return to the 49ers’ game
On top of the already losing game, the 49ers’ star receiver also injured his lower left leg in the third quarter. He was taken to the blue medical tent immediately.
It happened when Samuel ran a third-down route for the Niners’ second-half drive. As he fell, he was seen holding onto his left hamstring and stayed on the ground momentarily. After this, he walked to the medical tent to get himself checked.
Fortunately, it wasn’t anything serious and Samuel returned to San Francisco next drive. Though he didn’t suffer a hamstring injury or any other severe injury, Samuel did appear in some pain on his return. If Samuel hadn’t returned, the Niners may have suffered a humiliating loss as one of their key offensive element went questionable. Although they did suffer a loss, it was a close one by 3 points.
