The Dallas Cowboys vs. the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday was a game of high intensity. In the end, the Eagles had a 28-23 victory. However, that does not reduce the effort shown by the Dallas men. They were leading by a margin of 17-14 after the second quarter.

The Eagles changed the equation in the next two quarters and emerged victorious in a much-needed game. After Week 9, the Cowboys are still up by 5-3 and the Eagles are standing at 8-1.

The game between the two was so intense that the Eagles had to wait until the last kick of the game. They registered their win at the last kick of the game and their General Manager, Howie Rosman, jumped for joy. He ran crazily towards the stands and celebrated with the fans post this win.

The development took place nearly at the end of the last quarter. Dak Prescott had to move the ball for 86 yards in 46 seconds to seal a comeback victory for the Cowboys. He was awarded a 56-yard penalty to reach the six-yard line. The Eagles’ defense was aware of his ability to throw the ball and, hence was cautious. The defense made a perfect sack to Prescott for an 11-yard loss.

However, Prescott was able to find his wide receiver CeeDee Lamb at the five-yard line with his 22-yard throw. The WR received the ball but was immediately brought down by the Eagles’ cornerback Darius Slay. That was the last and determining moment of the game. The manager was spotted enjoying the moment with utter joy and happiness. A video that went viral on social media depicted his joy on the sidelines.

The game could have gone anyway, but the Eagles sealed it

The third quarter was a game-changer for them. At the end of the second quarter, the Cowboys were leading by 17-14. The Eagles scored a much-needed touchdown in the third quarter which put them ahead in the encounter. It was the turning point of the game.

The Cowboys played well. And especially Dak Prescott, who left no stone unturned to grab the victory. He covered 374 yards with three touchdowns. Nonetheless, he was not lucky enough to grab a victory for his team in the high-voltage encounter. Prescott, however, is focusing on the positives and remarked about the same in the postgame presser.

An inch or two on one of those three plays and we could be talking about a different outcome.

The Cowboys will be next facing the New York Giants on Sunday. The Dallas team will look to benefit from Brian Daboll‘s men who are on the downward slide this season.
