Usually in the NFL, football players take the loss as a motivation for their next game. And when a loss is as big as the Super Bowl, the comeback needs to be huge. But not Jason Kelce. The Eagles’ center does not believe in revenge angels for better play.
The 36-year-old is preparing to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs for the game on the coming Monday. Though he doesn’t take the loss as motivation, he very much would like to score his first NFL victory against brother Travis Kelce, amidst their sibling rivalry.

While talking to the media, the Philadelphia Eagles‘ center said:
I'm motivated to win the game. I don't need the Super Bowl…to motivate me to beat my brother or Andy Reid. I've never beaten them in my career. I'm more motivated maybe by that. I don't buy into Super Bowl revenge games. Each season is different. This team is not the same, that team is not the same.
On Monday night, Jason Kelce remarked that nothing would change what transpired last year. The Eagles had a close defeat of 38-35 against the Chiefs in the previous Super Bowl. As the Kelce brothers prepare for another face-off, the game’s fame has grown, fueled in part by rumors about Travis’ relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Jason-Travis, the Kelce brother rivalry
Last season, when the Kelce brothers reached the Super Bowl against each other, they made history for doing so. There has never been a brother duo in the NFL to play against each other at such a high level.

Travis led the Chiefs to their third championship game in the last four seasons to beat the Eagles, who appeared for the second time led by Jason in six years. This sure was quite a dilemma for Mother Kelce — Donna, to pick the jersey for the son she is supporting.
And she again faced this dilemma in Week 11 this season, as both her sons prepared to defeat each other on the field. The Eagles are leading their NFC East division with 8-1, while the Chiefs are leading the AFC West with 7-2.
