“Robert Kraft would have 10 Super Bowls if not for…” Eli Manning jokingly reveals reason for Patriots’ 6 championships

The New England Patriots are one of the most successful franchises in the history of the NFL, with 6 Super Bowl titles to their name. They also hold the record for the most number of appearances in the titular clash with 11 of them in their history.

However, former New York Giants quarterback, Eli Manning thinks that Robert Kraft owned Patriots could have won more titles if it weren’t for the Manning family. Speaking at Sports Business Journal’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Eli Manning poked fun at Robert Kraft.

Eli Manning defeated the New England Patriots twice in the Super Bowl clash

Eli Manning has had the privilege of snatching away 2 Super Bowl titles from Robert Kraft and the Patriots in the titular clash, while his brother Peyton Manning has also caused havoc against the Patriots.

Although Peyton did not defeat them in the titular clash, he made sure on three occasions that they do not progress further in the season, defeating them in the postseason. Simply by using this logic, Eli Manning felt that they have barred the Patriots from winning 10 Super Bowl titles (actually should have been 11).

“My mom Olivia sends her apologies: She said if it weren’t for her, Robert Kraft would have at least 10 Super Bowls,” Manning said, via Ben Fischer.

Since all 6 Super Bowl titles have been won by the Patriots during Robert Kraft’s era, the veteran owner should not be disappointed in his side’s performance over the years.
