On Thursday night, folks inside First Energy Stadium saw another Cleveland Browns player go down with a terrifying injury. Wide receiver Elijah Moore felt the full force of a tackle from a New York Jets defender.
Deep into the second quarter, the Browns were leading the Jets 27-14. Browns quarterback Joe Flacco had the ball in his hands on 1st and 10. He threw a 22-yard accurate pass to Moore, who caught the ball and gained 5 yards before Jets linebacker CJ Mosely pulled the former Ole Miss graduate from behind to stop him from going any further.
What appeared to be a routine challenge turned into a nightmare for the Browns fans. They feared another Nick Chubb situation when Moore went down and stayed down. The Amazon Prime camera zoomed in on the 23-year-old lying on the ground, and it was not pretty.
Moore shook his head back and forth, which seemed like him shaking off the hit at first, but then his arms began flailing. His arms did not appear to move violently, but it seemed he had no control over them.

Players from both sides cleared up the area where Elijah Moore was lying on the ground for the medical team to come and examine the ex-Jet. After a short delay, Moore got up and walked towards the blue tent to get checked for concussions.
Upon several reviews of the tackle, Moore hit his head while falling to the ground. According to Dr. Evan Jeffries on X.

At the time of his injury, Elijah Moore had five catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. He has 59 catches for 640 yards and 2 touchdowns. As of now, there hasn’t been any further news on his health. Meanwhile, the Browns keep losing players. Last week, wide receiver Amari Cooper gained 265 yards, but later he was ruled out due to a heel injury.
Their injury list consists of all of their quarterbacks. Starters: Deshaun Watson, PJ Walker, and Dorian Thompson Robinson are sidelined. For that reason, Joe Flacco was brought in to steady the ship. In 5 games, the 38-year-old has completed 123 passes for 1616 yards, throwing 13 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
