Aaron Rodgers’ arrival in New York has suddenly made the Jets serious contenders in the division and the AFC. Rodgers brings in 20 years of experience playing in the NFL. The former Green Bay Packers is a 4-time MVP winner and a Super Bowl winner. However, there are some who doubt his capability and potential to perform on the big stage next season.

Emmanuel Acho from SPEAK by FS1 recently spoke about Rodgers future with the Jets. Amidst all the massive expectations from the Jets, Acho believes that the New York based team have grown overconfident since the arrival of the 39-year-old QB. “I think the Jets are wildly overconfident,” Emmanuel Acho stated on SPEAK. “how can you have the answers when they don’t even known the questions. There are still some young players in that system, I don’t think you can have all the answers.”

The Jets have a new and improved offense led by the great Aaron Rodgers. However, this new offense will also have chemistry problems. According to Acho, there are still many rookie players in the team like Garrett Wilson who has just come off from a sensational season. A new team takes time to settle in and get in the slow. Acho believes that Rodgers will be comfortable with the swift change. However, the same can’t be said about his Jets teammates.

Aaron Rodgers is basically a saving grace for the Jets who haven’t made the playoffs in 23 years. It is believed that they will break the curse next season with the veteran in charge. Interestingly, Rodgers is coming off a disappointing season with the Packers and had one of his worst outings of all time. Still, the 39-year-old is a veteran of the game and will provide great functionality to the team.

However, his arrival has suddenly turned the Jets into serious competitors. Although they have the ideal roster to challenge for the playoffs, the team is still young.

The team has done various practice sessions together. However, the pressure and impact of a real game are way different from practice and the Jets may struggle. Aaron Rodgers will likely be playing in his toughest season in the NFL.
