Emmanuel Acho has been making waves on ‘SPEAK on FS1’ with his varied comments and different takes. However, the 32-year-old is trending currently due to his recent list of the most pressured non-QBs in the NFL.
The former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker made a list of the top 5 non-QBs in the NFL who will be under the most pressure when the next season rolls around. The list consisted of Odell Beckham Jr. at number 2 and Bill Belichick at number 1.
Both, the Baltimore Ravens WR and New England Patriots HC have been under significant pressure due to different reasons altogether. Acho gave his own reasons for adding Odell and Belichick at numbers 1 and 2 respectively.
“We haven’t seen Odell play football in a year, the last time we did see him play he was on his way to win the Super Bowl MVP but he tore his ACL. The Ravens have overpaid for him in access of $15 million and the pressure in on for him,” Emmanuel Acho stated on SPEAK. “Bill Belichick has got 6 rings but without Tom Brady he has been average. I don’t say that as an insult, he literally has been average head coach.”
Acho gave his own reasons as to why he added Odell Beckham Jr. and Belichick to the list. The former LA Rams WR has been out of NFL action for a complete season due to his ACL injury. Now, many believe that he is injury prone and won’t be able to perform next season. The massive contract from the Ravens has also not helped his cause.
Emmanuel Acho believes Bill Belichick will be the most pressured non-QB next season
Bill Belichick created a Super Bowl dynasty with the Patriots for the past 2 decades and cemented himself as the greatest HC of all time. However, all good things come to an end and Emmanuel Acho believes he’s just an average coach.
Since the departure of Tom Brady, the Patriots have failed to bring glory back to New England and that’s a cause for concern. Their new QB turmoil has also not helped their case.
Bill Belichick will be under the keen eye of the management and will have to perform next season. The Patriots are also playing in one of the tougher divisions in the league. Therefore, the road to playoffs is extremely difficult for them. However, it’s nothing new for Belichick who has all the experience one needs.
