The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has been making a lot of headlines ever since he disrespected the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Amidst this, Fox Sports analyst Emmanuel Acho shows some appreciation to the talented wide receiver as he ranks Chase as the best wideout in the league over the likes of Justin Jefferson and Tyreek Hill.

During a recent episode of the Fox Sports show SPEAK, the former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho listed his 5 best wide receivers in the league right now. The list had Ja’Marr Chase as the number 1 wide receiver in the NFL, followed by Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and Stefon Diggs in that particular order.

His list agitated a lot of fans on social media for a lot of different reasons. Some people thought Acho disrespected the 2021 triple crown winner Cooper Kupp by not putting him on the list at all. Furthermore, some others had issues with Jefferson, and Chase ranked higher than the likes of Adams and Hill in a short period.

Nonetheless, some agreed with Ja’Marr Chase being named the number 1 wide receiver in the league. Just a few days ago, Chase faced a similar backlash when he crowned his teammate Joe Burrow as the best player in the league. He also disrespected the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes by asking, “Pat Who?” when someone mentioned that Burrow picked Mahomes as the No.1 player.

Chase’s comments led to the Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce issuing a warning to the Bengals wideout to never disrespect Patrick again. Moreover, Mahomes himself seemingly replied to the Pro Bowl pass catcher by posting a picture of himself wearing his two Super Bowl rings with the caption, “That’s Who.”

The Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase has had a great start to his NFL career registering back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Now he looks to continue his good form and bounce back from the injury-riddled 2022 season.

Chase suffered a hip injury during the Bengals‘ week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. However, he managed to bounce back and still put up a 1000+ receiving yards season.

The 2-time Pro Bowl receiver registered 1046 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns despite missing 5 games because of injury. It’s no doubt that he could’ve had another historical season in 2022 if it wasn’t for the missed games.

Now, a fully healthy Ja’Marr Chase looks to solidify himself as one of the best pass catchers in the league. He looks to help his team to win the Super Bowl ring in the upcoming season.
