Lamar Jackson made many headlines this offseason due to his contract dispute with the Baltimore Ravens. However, that has been resolved now and the talented QB is the highest-paid player in the league.

Arguably, Jackson is also one of the best QBs of this generation along with a few other names. Specifically, Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow. Both, Mahomes and Burrow have dominated the AFC for multiple seasons now.

However, now it seems like Jackson will turn up with a legendary season like the one in 2019. The Ravens QB was declared as the unanimous MVP something which hasn’t been achieved by Mahomes or Burrow.

NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho is highly confident in Jackson’s abilities and believes he will be the best QB next season while taking over Patrick Mahomes. Acho didn’t even mention Burrow who has been one of the most feared QBs and has been getting good at a significant rate.

“Lamar Jackson has already proven himself to be a unanimous league MVP, something that even Mahomes hasn’t done. So, at least, with Lamar Jackson, there’s some built-in equity there, 2019 unanimous MVP,” Emmanuel Acho stated. “So, if he has a dream season, he would have two regular season MVPs, then a Super Bowl and a Super Bowl MVP.”

Acho believes the Ravens will get to the Super Bowl next season and even have a chance to win. However, it’s just wishful thinking as the Baltimore-based team is currently in transition and Lamar Jackson is the only stronghold in the team.

By the time of his sophomore NFL season, Lamar Jackson was already the best QB in the league. His passing coupled with his amazing rushing skills have made him a deadly opponent.

However, calling him the best QB while snubbing Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes looks like a far shot. Currently, Mahomes reigns on top of the QB ladder and Burrow comes as a close 2nd or 3rd.

On the other hand, Jackson had a lukewarm year last season which was drowned in injuries and disputes with his team. However, if Lamar Jackson can manage to be fit throughout the season then Ravens can turn out to be a deadly opponent in the NFL. They have also signed WR Odell Beckham Jr. who can cause serious damage to the opposition.
